How to Play Seer
Pick whether the team needs Catalyst utility or a Mace Zeal plan. The support Catalyst provides healing and shielding alongside control and buffs, while the offensive Catalyst pairs Psionic Energy with charged enhanced orbs. Mace asks you to choose mobility-oriented pressure or a tougher close-quarters approach.
Weapon Paths
Catalyst Offensive consumes Psionic Energy to charge enhanced orbs and combines crowd control with damage. Catalyst Support provides healing and shielding, with control and buffs for target focus and peeling in team fights.
Mace Speed Boost replenishes Psionic Energy during Zeal and enables frequent runic strikes. Mace Super Armor extends Super Armor and damage reduction through Zeal, supporting close-quarters initiative and critical interactions.
Strengths
- Catalyst Support has official healing, shielding, control, and buff utility.
- Catalyst Offensive combines charged orbs with control and damage.
- Mace offers two Zeal directions with energy replenishment or extended protection.
Weaknesses
- Seer’s two weapon categories ask the player to choose between utility and Mace pressure.
- Catalyst and Zeal paths have distinct resource and timing language in the DevNote.
- Community Insight: the A tier is a DevNote #6-context editorial interpretation, not an official balance claim.
Team Pairings
Seer’s official support path explicitly mentions team-fight focus and peeling, while Xbox describes tactical class combinations in three-player teams. Pair its control, healing, shielding, or buffs with the team’s immediate plan rather than assuming a mandated ally.
Community Build Directions
Community Insight — DevNote #6-context editorial interpretation: choose Catalyst Support when utility is the priority, Catalyst Offensive for charged-orb control and damage, Mace Speed Boost for frequent runic pressure, or Mace Super Armor for a more protected close-range role. These are editorial directions, not official builds.
